High-Level International Collaboration Strengthens Peace and Innovation Through AI

Pune, Bangalore, New Delhi – 12 August 2025: In a significant step toward advancing global peace through technology, Dharahas B, UN AI Youth Advocacy and Chairman & Co-Founder of OpenComAI, hosted Sandy An, General Director of the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), and her delegation during a strategic visit to India. The delegation’s multi-city itinerary across Pune, Bangalore, and New Delhi included high-level meetings with international universities, peacekeeping institutions, and leading organizations in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), as a UN official stakeholder. The discussions focused on forging a stronger India–South Korea partnership that combines OpenComAI’s Adaptive Intelligence Systems with IPYG’s global peace networks, aiming to enhance peacekeeping capacity, empower youth leadership, and leverage AI innovation for societal impact.

The visit yielded several key outcomes, including the strengthening of India–South Korea cooperation for peace-driven technological innovation, and the exploration of AI-powered frameworks to support SDG 16 implementation through scalable peacekeeping tools. Furthermore, it was agreed to expand educational and institutional collaborations to cultivate youth leaders as drivers of peace and innovation, reinforcing IPYG’s mission—active in 128 countries with over 1,500 partner organizations—to connect global youth in building sustainable peace.

Speaking on the occasion, Dharahas B stated: “When technological innovation under SDG 9 is aligned with the vision of peace under SDG 16, we can accelerate progress toward a safer and more just world. This partnership shows how AI can become a bridge between innovation and peacekeeping.” General Director Sandy An emphasized the importance of cross-border youth alliances, underscoring that collaborative innovation is key to strengthening global peace infrastructures.

During the International Youth Day discussions, both delegations also considered an upcoming initiative to empower youth in Morocco, the Republic of Congo, and South Africa. This step was taken with the participation of prominent figures like Dr. Jamila Mourabit, President of the International Center for Energy, Law, and Sustainable Development from Morocco, in recognition of the transformative role African youth can play in advancing the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This initiative aims to channel youth potential into impactful contributions toward all SDGs from the UN General Assembly.

This strategic collaboration between OpenComAI and IPYG marks a new era where adaptive intelligence meets global peacebuilding—uniting the innovation strength of India, the peace leadership of South Korea, and the collective will of youth worldwide. Together, these efforts signal not just another partnership, but a movement capable of shaping a safer, more equitable, and innovation-driven world for generations to come.
