Rhamna Association .. Urgent Call for Green Future
Rhamna, Morocco – On the occasion of World Environment Day, observed annually on June 5th, and celebrated this year under the theme “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience,” the Rhamna Association for Environment and Sustainable Development has issued a powerful press release emphasizing the urgent need for concerted efforts to protect the environment and foster sustainable development in the Rhamna province.
The statement, a copy of which was received by k24 online newspaper, underscores that “preserving our natural resources is the cornerstone for achieving the well-being of our communities and ensuring a prosperous future for generations to come.” On this occasion, the Association did not hesitate to highlight a series of pressing environmental issues facing the province, calling upon all stakeholders to work together to address them.
Pressing Environmental Issues in Rhamna Demand Urgent Solutions
The first issue raised by the statement is water scarcity and the impacts of drought. The Rhamna province, like other regions in Morocco, faces significant challenges related to water shortages and the worsening phenomenon of drought.
